Codex Alimentarius - The scheme to condemn the World to Malnourishment

This subject is linked to the Law on vitamins and nutrition that has been adopted in the USA at the end of 2009. The Codex Alimentarius was the idea of the Director of the pharmaceuticals/chemicals firm IG Farben who was released early after the end of his term of imprisonment - following the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal. This tribunal broke the IG Farben trust into its present-day successors: BASF, Bayer, and Hoechst.

In the Austro-Hungarian Empire between 1897 and 1911, a collection of standards and product descriptions was developed for a variety of foods. These standards were known as the Codex Alimentarius Austriacus. From it the current Codex Alimentarius takes its name. The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) was founded in 1945 with a responsibility to cover nutrition and associated international food standards.

After World War II, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries systematically groomed politicians for the highest offices of government - amonst them Helmut Kohl - later to become Chancelor of Germany. Between 1954-1958, Austria actively pursued the creation of a regional food code, the Codex Alimentarius Europaeus, or European Codex Alimentarius. 1961, the The FAO Conference decided to establish a Codex Alimentarius Commission and requested early endorsement by WHO of a joint FAO/WHO food standards program.

According to the Codex's own interpretation on its website , its role is:

"to develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme. The main purposes of this Programme are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations".

It is in charge of 'harmonizing' regulations for dietary supplements worldwide and the setting of international safety standards for the purpose of increased trade.

In actual fact the role of the Codex may be far more HARMful and  sinsiter. The Codex alimentarius is one of the major bodies behind an effort to limit peoples access to nutritional information and products.
